Emerald Wheels Rental Agreement
1. All rental equipment is owned by Emerald Wheels; therefore clients will not assign, rent or transfer possession of rented equipment to anyone else or take the equipment out of the tri-state area (D.C, Maryland & Virginia) without a written prior agreement. Equipment will not be mishandled, abused or misused during rental period. Emerald Wheels may charge you its full retail cost for any damages caused by misuse or negligence on your part.
2. If equipment is lost or stolen; the client will be responsible for the replacement cost, which is the full retail value.
3. At the end of the rental period, equipment should be returned to pick up/delivery location. Delayed returns will incur additional rental charges.
4. Deliveries and pickups outside of our office location will incur a charge of $1.00/mile.
5. All power wheelchair & scooter rentals require a minimum 2 day rental period and an advance reservation of 3 days. All bookings not made within this timeline, will be subject to a emergency reservation fee of $35.
6. All rental pick ups requested after noon, will be considered an additional rental day. This charge will be added after the rental product has been returned
7. Emerald Wheels encourages advanced booking to ensure that equipment is delivered ahead of the required time. To ensure a full refund, all cancellations of advance bookings should be made at least 24 hours prior to agreement date. Cancellations made outside these guidelines are subject to a cancellation fee.
8. Emerald Wheels will not be liable for any loss, damage to property, injury, or death of persons while equipment is clients possession and/or operation.
9. All attempted deliveries and pickups will incur a $30 charge for redelivery and 2nd attempt pick up.
